Transcend Movie World Premiere in Chicago - October 9 - 10Published by
Dear Chicago Runners! We are pleased to announce that Transcend – a brand new running documentary – will have its world theatrical premiere in Chicago in the days before the 2014 Chicago Marathon. You are all invited -- but we need your help to make these events happen! See below to see how you can help by buying tickets in advance to unlock the screenings, and by spreading the word.

After two years of filming in Kenya, the filmmakers have brought you a story that takes you into the mind of the greatest runners. Transcend is the inspiring story of how Wesley Korir, after winning the 2012 Boston Marathon, risks it all to return home to help his fellow Kenyans create better lives for themselves.

Unlike traditional movie showings, this screening will only happen if enough tickets are reserved before the deadline, so we’re going need everyone to step up and start spreading the word ASAP to make this event a success.
